Clemson University – MBAe ( Entrepreneurship and Innovation) Program – is a one-year, intensive, experiential program where students begin with an idea, apply rigorous business principles and graduate with both an MBA degree and a market-ready business.

Clemson University – Arthur M. Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership – supports educational, research and outreach programs that promote entrepreneurial activity and economic development of the region, state and nation. The focus is on wealth creation through entrepreneurial activity. Their programs include EcoPlosian, Social LaunchPad, and LaunchPadSC.

SC Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – offers personal guidance and assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs in South Carolina. Through personal and confidential consultation, SBDC representatives provide one-on-one management and technical assistance to small business owners who wish to start, grow or maintain their businesses. The SBDC offers marketing analysis, business plan preparation, financial feasibility studies and other valuable resources to the entrepreneur at little to no cost.

Clemson University Research Foundation (CURF) – moves technology, created through research and creative inquiry, out of the laboratory and into commercial markets.

Piedmont Services Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) – has 40 volunteers committed to helping entrepreneurs start a new business, or build up an existing business.

SCBio– SCBIO is a member organization that exists to support and advance South Carolina’s life science industry through collaboration, advocacy, workforce development, enhanced purchasing power and education. This mission furthers our goal of ensuring that South Carolina’s companies, research institutions, and citizens reap the economic and societal benefits of a world-class life sciences cluster.

Upstate SC Alliance – is a public/private regional economic development organization that markets the dynamic 10-county Upstate region to the world.

Innnovista connects businesses, industry, and entrepreneurs to the myriad resources of the University to create jobs, accelerate innovation, and drive economic prosperity in the state, region, and around the world.

The Center for Entrepreneurship at College of Charleston – The Center for Entrepreneurship is a primary point of contact for entrepreneurship development in the region and wants to be your go-to resource for entrepreneurship in the Lowcountry, and South Carolina.  Our mission is to develop the regional entrepreneurial capability by helping current and future entrepreneurs start and grow businesses, while supporting responsible enterprises.

South Carolina Council on Competitiveness – ‘SC Competes’ – is a business-led nonprofit driving South Carolina’s long-term economic growth through managing industry clusters – Aerospace, Logistics, Technology/Cybersecurity – and providing the research, network, and resources that industry requires to thrive. The “SC Tech” cluster provides a unified voice for the state’s technology & cybersecurity communities. SC Fraunhofer USA Alliance (SCFUSA), an initiative led by SC Competes and SC Department of Commerce, advances applied research across the state by pairing Fraunhofer USA expertise with SC research institutions to provide cash-match research funding on behalf of SC companies.
